We’re Hiring: Oracle DBA (Primary Focus)

Location: Limassol, Cyprus

Company: ELIDI Securities Ltd is a Cypriot Investment Firm, licensed and regulated by CySec.

Our office is located in the city of Limassol and we are currently looking for a highly organized and proactive Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

Maintain, monitor, and optimize Oracle databases (12c/19c or newer)

Ensure high availability and disaster recovery (Data Guard, RMAN, backup strategies)

Automate database tasks and ensure strong security policies (PL/SQL, shell scripts)

Tune performance (SQL profiling, indexing, AWR/ASH reports)

Work with development teams to design schema, write stored procedures, and optimize queries

Participate in infrastructure planning, patching, and version upgrades

Implement monitoring and alerting tools to proactively identify issues

Additional Development Tasks (optional):

Support integration of Oracle with backend services (REST APIs, gateways)

Build or assist in developing UI tools interacting with Oracle and financial data

Database: Oracle DB (SQL, PL/SQL), optional PostgreSQL

Backend: REST APIs, Node.js / Python

Frontend: JavaScript / TypeScript, React or Vue (as needed)

Tools: Git, Docker, Postman, Figma, Bloomberg API (BPIPE/Server API)
